Q: Hi, I've got a system where a resource is attached to an item that then goes into an unbatch stage. Is there a simple way to release the resource only when all of the items from the unbatch have passed the release resource block? Currently I'm measuring the contents of all the blocks between the unbatch and the end of the section, and only releasing the resource once the section is empty, but this quickly becomes ugly as the number of blocks in the section increases Thanks for your help

A: There are many ways to do this. One is to release 1/(number in batch) for each item. Another approach is to set an attribute on the last item in a batch and route it through the Release Resource Pool Block. There are other approaches. If one of these does not meet your needs.
